So, it's 4PM and Derr hasn't called yet. Meanwhile i watched All That Heaven Allows which is another movie in the Criterion Collection (like Throne of Blood was).
The movie is from the 1950's with Rock Hudson and Jane Wyman as the main protagonists.
This is my 3rd romance/drama of the week, i guess it helps me hold on to the thought of finding a good woman, someday. Ok ok, back to the movie. It was good and even though the social enviroment has changed since that era, there are some concepts which still applies today that can affect a loving relationship quite negatively.
The end is simple and open ended, i liked it. I don't think of it as a chick flick, but i'm sure the romantic part of it can be appreciated.
I was going to watch Aeonflux until i checked the reviews for it. Next is either Sherrybaby or Madame Butterfly.
I'll call Derr now to see what's up.
