Most of my clothes were dirty, not good enough to look decent if one is to ask for work.
I walked a few hours to the closest laundrymat.
The place wasn't cheap but it was nice and had 3 TV's going, i watched the Ellen Degeneres show.
On my way there i bought a 6-pack bag of socks and a pair of cheap sneakers at Wal-Mart. A well spent $15.
I took the bus back home.
I went to the camp to cut most of my beard off to look more decent, they got a large mirror there.
I changed at my tent and went to the first place the haitian had mentioned, a japanese restaurant.
The owner wanted to try me out so I worked from 5:30PM to 10PM. I got along with the staff, and tried to be nice and friendly. Everyone seemed to like me. I was to be a diswasher/cook helper, which was fine by me.
I went home happy, i had made a good impression and i had Mr. Gong's phone # (the owner) to talk to him the next day.
I slept pretty good this night.
