Day 52

Woke up late (9AM), getting a bit lazy because i really don't want to hold a sign anymore.

Got dressed, and stayed at BK eating breakfast and reading until after 10AM. Decided to go straight to the library, drop off 2 books i finished and then ride to the Glades corner off 441 where i knew Frank would be.

I signed for an hour and a half with a grand total of $1.20, then some dude gives me and Frank 2 christmas cards with money in them. I thanked him and said "God bless you" (which is what i tell everyone, even those who don't give anything). That one person made my day, there was no need to get greedy.

Dal, Andy, some other homeless I know but don't remember his name and another dude which i've seen around but never was introduced to waited for the preacher to show up for food.

We joked a bit around, trying to tell Andy to stop riding his bike drunk 'cause he may get killed that way.

Food arrives, and Frank shows up for his share. We all thank the nice couple and we dig in. Today we got meatballs, vegetables, fruit, buns, corns, potatoes, cake, soup. A good free meal.

After that i went to the nearby movie teather and watched "I Legend" with Will Smith, i liked it. I figured i would treat myself to some entertainment.

I got to the library at around 5PM, and been here since. They're closing in about half an hour (today it closes at 6PM). Overall, not a bad day, thank god.
